The 3rd edition of the Main Group Metal Chemistry Symposium (MGMCS) will take place from Wednesday, November 12 to Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Sorbonne University's Faculté des Sciences et Ingenierie, site des Cordeliers.

For this edition of the MGMCS, we are honored to propose:

• 3 Invited lectures delivered by Pr. Guillaume Berionni (Université de Namur), Dr. Gabriele Menges-Flanagan (Fraunhofer IMM, Mayence), and Dr. Alexander Hinz (Karlsruhe Institut de Technologie, KIT)

• 14 invited oral communications covering the different elements of the main group, with a focus on C⎼metal / C⎼metalloid bonding (preparation, use in synthesis, applications),

• 11 flash presentations delivered by PhD students.

The symposium wil be held in English.

The aim of these scientific days is to bring together the members of the main group metal chemistry community  to encourage scientific exchanges and the emergence of new collaborations during the coffee breaks, as well as at the dinner on Wednesday November 12.
